This show unveils ongoing experimentation, exchange, and interdisciplinary practices that have shaped a dynamic body of work of the residents over the past 7 months.
The exhibition includes a diverse mix of painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media works, offering insight into the wide material and conceptual approaches explored during the residency.

As we collectively navigate a world saturated with media, signs and spectacle, Ad-Lib looks to question what we know to be real and what we understand to be simulated, and how the blurring of the two might be reconciled. If there is a loss of a genuine, unmediated experience, are there uncontrolled actions – can we be spontaneous?
