Marketing Calendar
At The Muse we simply use our Google Calendar as our Marketing
calendar. It is a calendar shared with the whole team. This
way everyone knows what is taking place when and what needs to
be delivered at what date. This is an easy way of staying on
top and in control of your marketing and keeping deadlines.
A ground rule is that the artists must deliver a Press text,
Bio and at least 3 high-res images 2 months before the opening
date of his/her/their show.
At least one month in advance the marketing responsible will
add this content to the Website, and listings and create an
event on Facebook. You can plan and create your marketing
calendar according to your specific strategy and needs. Here
is an example of what the Muse’s calendar looked like in
February 2023. Remember that you can add specific tasks in
Notes and invite team members who are responsible for various
deliverables supporting the communication.
MailChimp recently added a marketing planning feature to its
services. You can access this through your MailChimp profile at an
extra cost. This is a smart way to reduce time and automate some of
your communication.
Instagram too has a planning app to support automatic posting.
